                                           I have been a sportsman since I was six years old that was fifty four years ago. I fish with fly rod and have tied my own flies for almost fifty years. I have had many articles published in a ton of books and magazines. I also fish with bait casting and spinning gear. I also love to troll for walleyes and rainbow and lake trout. I hunt for deer with a bow and have been fortunate enough to hunt five or six states each bow season. Currently my bow killed deer stands at one hundred and five. I own many rifles and shotguns but I no longer hunt with a rifle finding bow hunting more to my liking. At the age of sixty I find that the drive to hunt with a bow is stronger than with a firearm and thankfully I can still draw the bow and climb into a treestand.
